It all started one November night, at Jenny Warhill's house. 15 year old Taylor made her way through the crowd, her blonde and red hair whipping behind her. She was already feeling a little hungover. She felt an urge. She had butterfly's in her stomach, and yet, she didnt know why. She sat there with her rainbow tank top while she watched the tv which she could hardly hear over all the noise. Her blue eyes flashed all around the room, looking for her crush, Mike. She heard that he was going to be there and thats the only reason she even came. She wanted to seem cool in front of him. She decided she wasnt going to find him, so she went into the bathroom. She looked at her smudged makeup and sighed. She tried so hard to be whateveryon wanted her to be but it wasnt what she wanted. After her parents divorce, she felt useless. Her way of making her better was trying to look perfect, even though she did get wasted alot and cut herself. Then, her buterfly's kicked in again. She bent down over the toilet and puked. After about 5 minutes, she looked up in the mirror and checked her hair. It was still smooth and straight, but her roots were showing. She had brown hair, but she bleached it to fit in. She added her own style with the red chunks. She went back into the party and she felt an elbow push into her side and saw it was some girl dancing who didnt even care enough to apologize. She went outside and away from everyone else. She wished it was winter. She was 15, and her brithday being in January, she would turn 16 and hopefully get a car. But because she liked summer so much and she was a bit of a loner, her skin was very pale. She looked down and adjusted her boots. She spend $150 on her outfit that her grandma had given her. She kept it from her 15th birthday because she knew that she would need it one day. When she heard about the party, she know that today was that day. She twirled her hair around her finger. When she got down to the bottom of her hair, she looked at her purple ring. She sighed, remembering getting the ring when she was 7 and it was to big. It was now a little tight. Things were so easy back then ... She got up and went back inside and headed to the pie's. Jenny's dad was a baker and he loved making blueberry pie's for her friends, even thought Taylor wasnt really one of Jenny's friends... in fact, her and Jenny were enemies. So why was she at her party? I couldnt tell you. She looked at her dull, unpainted nails. She never liked the smell of nailpolish, so she never really painted her nails. People were staring at her. She looked down. Taylor was usually a very bubbly girl, but today, something made her nervous. She made her way over too the window. She looked up and saw the huge full moon and got moon strucked. Taylor was just as suspicious as the next person, but for some reason, the moon was a little to weary. It almost scared her to look away, as if she might see a were wolf.
She staired for what seemed like house before she shook herself out of hers trans. She slowly walked away, and then she bumped into Chelsea.
Chelsea was a very bubbly girl. She was very girly. She had on a pink dress and she had brown eyes. Chelsea staired at Taylor's blue eyes for a while. They just stood there, staring at eachother. Just then, Taylor spoke up, "So do you have a boyfriend?" It was almost like they new eachother. But that was impossible. They JUST meet. But Chelsea went with it. "Hell no, I hate guys. Relationships are WAY to complicated. You?" "I have a crush on Mike," Chelsea knew several Mike's, and she wasnt sure who Taylor was talking about. "What Mike?" she asked. Just then, Tyalor bit her lip and her bright eyes flew across the room. Chelsea followed: Mike Villie. He was Itallin... and one of her ex-boyfriends. She grinded her teeth. Taylor just watched Chelsea get upset. Just then a dog ran by and stopped by Chelsea and Taylor. "AWW!!" They both said. They got on theyre knees and started petting, rubbing, and kissing the cute dog. Chelsea had turned 16 in August, and instead of getting a car, she got a dog. Other girls might get mad about that, but Chelsea was just fine with that. As she played with the dog (Who by then had tackled her to he ground) she thought about her parents and what her life would be like living in Africa. Her dad might get a promotion, and they might have to leave and go live in Africa. She almost cried. Thinking about leaving her was one of the most terrible thought she ever had. She decided to not let that bring her down. She sniffled a little and sat up, letting a tear slip. She could tell Taylor had noticed. "You ok?" Taylor asked. "Yeah, it's just... I might be moving to Africa," she replied. Taylor looked upset. "Wow, really? Africa? Thats a shame... I was just getting to like you," Taylor said. Chelsea just smiled. Mike walked up and Taylor looked away, embarrased. "You guys wanna play some soccer?" he asked. Taylor jumped up and said "Yes!" but Taylor stayed sitting down. Chelsea staired at her, wondering what was wrong. She looked up at her and said "I dont do sports," she said. She looked at Mike and bit her lip. "Well, tonight you do!" grabbing Taylor and they all ran outside. Chelsea took off he stripped heels and kicked the ball with a bair foot. It hurt, but it was worth it. Eventually, she had to sit down. Not because she was out of breath, but because her short black hair was getting in her face. She heard someone walk towards her. She looked up and saw Harper.
Harper was a very eerie girl. She was always there, always watching. In her free time, she did spells. Yes, spells. She was wearing a black tank with black shorts and red sneakers. She saw Chelsea look around her and look at her boyfriend-Jeff. He was just as creepie. She got annoyed when she realized her boyfriend followed her. She turned around and walked towards him. After telling him to leave her alone and he refused, they fighted till he left. She turned around, and saw Chelsea and Taylor standing in front of her. "What are you doing here?" Chelsea asked. "I came to get you," she said. "Why?" Taylor asked. "I need you to do something," Harper said. No questions asked, they followed her. She noticed Taylor looking at her pink ring. She hid her hand in front of her. She saw rat and smiled. She loved rodents... plus she might of put a spell on Jenny's house to become infested. They went upstairs where it smelled of fast food. They opened a door and the smell was bigger. They looked around and there was five bags of McDonalds food. After telling the girls to sit and eat if they want, Harper went into the bathroom and fixed her hair and makeup. When she came out, she sat down, her curly bob bouncing with her. She grabbed a box from under the bed that had all her spell stuff in it. "So what did you need us for?" Chelsea asked, munching on a french fry. Just then, they heard a knock at the door. Chelsea opened it up and standing there texting was Andrea.
Andrea walked in without taking her eyes off her phone. "Harp, got your text," she said. "I told you not to call me that" Harper said mad. "Sorry Harp, but I..." she looked up and frooze. The moon was huge. She couldnt move. Just saw out of her eyes all the other girls look up and stair. Harper was the first one to shake out of it. "Andrea, sit" Harper said. "Anything you say darling" she said while sitting. Andrea, Chelsea, and Taylor finally noticed that there were four diffrent colored candels lighten around the room: Red, Blue, Green, and White. She adjusted her red satin shirt and got comfortable. She adjusted her blue bracelet just as Harper told everyone to join hands. Andrea was usually pretty sweet, so she tried very hard to be nice. "Harper, you arent going all weird again, are you?" She asked. Harper hit her leg and told her to shoosh. She moved her hair out of her way and it revealed the horse that had been painted on her cheek. She tried to scratch it off, but she gave up and grabbed Chelsea's hand. Just then all the girls eyes widened at what they felt; an almost electrical spark going in a circle through theyre hands. They looked and they saw an electrical spark going around and around. They heard Harper talk, but they didnt know what she was saying. Was it Latin? Was it backwards? Spanish? Neither of them knew. Just then Chelsea felt a gust of wind hit her back. Her hair flew all around her face, blinding her and almost knocking her off the bed. Then Taylor heard nothing but whispers. It drove her wild. It was almost like screams and words of mockery. She couldnt handel it.Harper then felt har back flair up with heat. It was almost as if someone held on the candels up to her back. She kept going thought. The pain only made her shout louder.Andrea then felt like she couldnt breathe. It was almost as if she were under water. Her bright red ponytail lifted up and waved around, almost as if her hair was moving with the current with the water.
Then it all stopped... The girls unliked theyre hands and looked at theyre palms. Chelsea held hers to her face and she felt cold wind dirft from them. Taylor held her's to her head and heard whispers. Harpers palms had flams coming off of them. Andrea looked at her hands: it was almost as if they placed a glass of water above her hand and flashed a flashlight on the water. She touched her face, and water ran down her cheeks in the place where she had touched it.
After that happend, they said theyre goodbye and left quickly, never talking again until our next chapter....
